we made you a path to get home.

We are ready for our date with you.

This made me think of returning to our heavenly home, as my girls carefully placed each paper so it would make a path, I thought about how much care our Heavenly Father has taken to ensure that we return to him. The path is straight, the steps have been laid out. We have also been given a perfect example. It will be hard work, but we can do hard things. We can make it home.
