Here are the names of the Swiss cookies we made. My mom is from Switzerland and she would make the Mailänderli and Pfaffenkäppli at Christmas time. Now that we are baking together, we have added the Schokoladekugeln and Zimtsterne. I learned that baking all day will make you tired, however we had lots and lots of cookies for the holidays. A few years ago my moms rolling pin broke while we were baking and this year her grater broke, while she was grating chocolate. My girls loved making their own little creations with a little bit of this and a pinch of that. Thank you mom for such a wonderful time! love, me
