☀life is a process-looking back 10 years

A lot can happen in 10 years and
with September 11, 2001 being such a memorable day,
I can definitely remember where I was (at BYU)
and the happenings of that day.

I can only imagine the way some people's lives were
changed forever on that day and how
they have made it through these past 10 years.

Barett and I had not officially met,
however we were in the same ward at Campus Plaza
so we weren't married yet
and we didn't have our two girls yet
all those things have happened in the past 10 years

I have learned a lot,
matured a lot,
I used to think I was so mature, now I know I'm not.

I've learned to forgive myself!
I have come to be able to see more clearly
my Heavenly Father's hand in guiding my life.
I'm even more grateful for this experience called life!

Now, I am so happily married.
I have two smart and beautiful daughters!
We have a home.
We have a hard working dad/husband,
who is patient and kind and loves his girls...
we love Lord and know we have much to improve upon.
Hazel just said... "is that Dad?" Then she said "he's fun."
{and that's why I married him!}

We look forward with faith and hope to the next 10 years!!!

I love, love, love your thoughts! As a matter of fact, I "shared" your thoughts recently in a sacrament meeting talk! Bruce and I spoke last Sunday and I used some excepts from 4 of my favorite women's blogs....namely, my daughters and sweet daughter-in-law.My topic was on the purpose of family and I wanted to demonstrate the changing dynamics of our LDS families today. Thank you for sharing your life, via blogging, so I could be inspired by the examples of your life. Love to you, always!!!

Heidi,
It is remarkable what great work you have done with our son, in just 10 years!

Looking forward to watching the next 10 unfold.

We love you all...
