calm, cool, confident...
That is how I would describe Maren on her first day.
She had no problem.
However, there have to be some tears shed on the first day.
Right after she hung up her backpack the teacher said to find a spot
on the carpet and both of my girls were very obedient.
How do you explain to that little frown that she has to wait 3 years,
she desperately wanted to go to Kindergarten too.

oh... that is so sad. Poor Hazel. I'm so glad Maren did so well, though. Maybe you and Hazel can do some sort of special activity or treat, just for her. She's such a sweetheart.
Aw! That is such a sad, heartbreaking face! I hope she can adjust ok! I'm sure she will soon see the perks of being home alone with mom for some of the day!
