This has given me recent inspiration.
Along with this.
And this.
The YW General Broadcast
was also fabulous and I am so grateful so many of the
young women from our ward were able to attend.
Also, this one principle keeps jumping out at me and practically sitting in my lap. It is the basis for my blog and was mentioned Sunday in sacrament meeting and Relief Society in the ward I was visiting for my super-cute-new-from-heaven nephew's baby blessing. It is the principle that it is the every day small things that make up who we are, that show our true character, that build our relationship with God and our Savior.
{Just had to put a baby pic in. Hazel, holding tightly.}
Taking time to pray, smile, serve, send a note, and yes the laundry, meals & dishes too. This principle ties to the scripture that "by small and simple things are great things brought to pass..." Alma 37:6. President Thomas S. Monson even mentions it in the YW Broadcast (see what I mean about in my lap). Each day is truly a blessing, each moment we have to choose and become who we want to be......
more like the Savior.
I have learned that special {small} moments are worth celebrating and as we look for them we can find many things worth celebrating, many {small} blessings that also bring to pass great things in our lives. And as I give what I have to give, though it is {small}, the Lord can make great things out of my small offering.
{I'm holding on to this promise, very tightly!}
It is so important that we do hold tightly and trust in those things that the Lord has promised. He, will never break a promise, He will always be there, He gives us blessings and promptings for each of our lives and when times get hard we need to hold on tightly.

I love reading the "thoughts" of my blogging children! Thank you Heidi, for sharing your life so publicly with me. This new world of computers keeps us connected in a way I never thought possible. Yours and Barett's words are thoughtful, insightful, inspiring and just plain fun to read. I always read them and then I smile at the joy I feel for the blessings of family and wonderful children! I love you and keep up the good "mothering" thing!
I left this morning without giving her a hug.
