The summer reading program came with a calendar of 'summer fun' ideas. I read through them with the girls and their two favorites were {one} making a reading corner and {two} blowing through a straw at wet paint on a paper to make designs. - we have not yet attempted the second idea, but it sounds like fun.

This is our reading corner. We just piled some pillows and the bean bag in the corner between the two couches. We have our library bag and a stack of books there. We were at our friends house and they had 106 library books checked out, that is amazing!
