This evening we watched some beautiful Bible videos about the Savior's birth.
Our youngest was not really sitting and watching, but playing by the tree. I wanted her to watch as we were focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, but I let her be. After the girls were in bed, as mother's do, I walked around the room picking up a few things from the floor and spotted this scene between the couch and the tree. I thought she had been walking around playing and that she wasn't getting anything out of our attempt to make Christ the center of our Christmas.
"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."
"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."
Luke 2:10
So... I paused... and felt as if I had been taught by my 2-year old.
What a precious sight.
With this I say goodnight and Merry Christmas Eve!
