☀strawberry memories

For me Strawberries mean Summer. 

I have fond childhood memories of picking and eating strawberries from our

California garden and when special guests would come my Dad would 

dip them in sour cream & brown sugar. {try it, it's yummy}

{M} was begging for pancakes for dinner,

so this is how we recently used some of our homemade strawberry jam.

I also have fond memories of making strawberry freezer jam with my family, 

My mom & I did this last year together and it's time to make some more. 

 {There is something about making it for yourself that is so satisfying & tasty!}

Here we are making some strawberry memories...

Dressing:

1 T lemon juice

2 T white vinegar

4 T sugar

1 T vegetable oil

1 t poppy seeds
