Maren and I made a plan earlier in the year about what she could to do help children in Haiti. She decided that they may need some blankets. She set the goal of making 10 blankets. She has been earning money since then and now has $10.00.
This is our plan...
1. Earn $10.00 for 10 blankets
2. Research specifications & buy fabric
3. Make 10 blankets
4. Send blankets to LDS Charites/Humanitarian Aid for Haiti
I think it is important that that we not only give when we can, but teach our children that there are many other people and children like them who have very little and can use our help. In doing this we can teach them not only of the Savior, but also to act as the Savior would.
